The dimensions for Tripod Turnstile gates are:

For Slim Tripod Turnstile: LxWXH = 425 x 280 x 1035 mm +/- 5%

For Elegant Tripod Turnstile: LXWXH = 1100 x 280 x 1000 mm +/- 5 %

There are two different variants of inbuilt mechanisms offered for Tripod Turnstiles. The Electromechanical Tripod Turnstile functions through a solenoid-based locking mechanism. This requires the user to push the tripod arm and pass through the passage after access is granted. On the other hand, the Motorized Tripod Turnstile utilizes a BLDC motor-based locking mechanism. As the name suggests, this type of turnstile has a motorized mechanism that automatically rotates the arm. Therefore, the user is not required to push the tripod arm and can pass through the passage smoothly.

Motwane’s Tripod Turnstile gates are compatible with all electronic card reader systems, such as QR code scanners, fingerprint scanners, magnetic stripes, and face recognition systems.

Tripod Turnstiles are not designed to allow the movement of work trolleys and heavy material, but they can be useful for the movement of smaller items such as suitcases and carry bags. For the movement of heavy materials, Motwane provides Side Access Gates, which are specifically designed for this purpose.

A Tripod Turnstile is a type of access control system that is commonly used to regulate the flow of people in and out of restricted areas such as offices, airports, and subway stations. It typically consists of three rotating arms that are mounted on a central pole and controlled by a locking mechanism. Tripod Turnstile gates are designed to allow the passage of one person at a time after the user has been authenticated through a card reader, fingerprint scanner, or other access control mechanism. They help to ensure that only authorized individuals can enter a secure area, and they can also be used to monitor the number of people entering and exiting a particular location.

Tripod Turnstiles utilize a combination of highly reliable electronic control units and either BLDC motor or solenoid-operated mechanisms. The rotating arms are designed to rotate based on inputs received from access control systems or any type of reader. When access is granted, the arms are free to rotate and the user is allowed to pass through the passage. If access is not granted, the arm remains locked, blocking the passage.

To install a Tripod Turnstile system, it is necessary to have a flat, level, and concrete base that is at least 100 to 200 mm thick and of sufficient quality to accommodate raw bolts or expanding anchor bolts. The installation process involves drilling foundation holes into the ground for assembling the turnstile system, inserting the foundation bolts into the base plate, and fixing the main body onto the foundation bolts after removing the front panels. All the sub-assembly parts inside the enclosure should be checked before switching on the power supply to test the functioning of the tripod turnstile system. Finally, once the system has been tested, the front panel can be fixed in place.

Yes, Tripod Turnstiles can be used outdoors. They are designed to function effectively in different environments and are suitable for outdoor use with or without a roof. They are equipped with an IP54 rating, which protects the system against water splashes and rain, ensuring their reliable operation in all weather conditions.

The lifespan of a Tripod Turnstile depends on various factors such as usage, environment, and maintenance. Generally, Tripod Turnstiles are designed to last for several years with proper maintenance and regular upgrades.
