There are two different variants of inbuilt mechanisms offered for Tripod Turnstiles. The Electromechanical Tripod Turnstile functions through a solenoid-based locking mechanism. This requires the user to push the tripod arm and pass through the passage after access is granted. On the other hand, the Motorized Tripod Turnstile utilizes a BLDC motor-based locking mechanism. As the name suggests, this type of turnstile has a motorized mechanism that automatically rotates the arm. Therefore, the user is not required to push the tripod arm and can pass through the passage smoothly.

All the sub-assembly parts inside the enclosure should be checked before switching on the power supply to test the functioning of the tripod turnstile system. Finally, once the system has been tested, the front panel can be fixed in place.
